Tarmstedt Exhibition

AGRAVIS and regional Raiffeisen cooperatives attend regularly

An animal show, product innovations to try out and a varied supporting programme for the whole family guarantee a successful Tarmstedt Exhibition. AGRAVIS and the regional Raiffeisen cooperatives take part in the show every year.

The Tarmstedt Exhibition will be once more providing its visitors with a comprehensive, varied programme between 12 and 15 July 2019 – agriculture and agricultural machinery, horses and more, businesses, local authorities, home, garden and leisure, show and sport. Around 100,000 visitors are expected on the show days at North Germany’s largest regional exhibition. “See you in Tarmstedt” – the slogan says it all. The twelve Raiffeisen cooperatives from the Elbe-Weser triangle and AGRAVIS Raiffeisen AG will also be ready to welcome visitors on their 3,400-square-metre Raiffeisen Meeting Point in Block E2 and E3, where they will be showcasing their extensive product portfolio.

Visitors will find everything related to agriculture, agricultural machinery, garden and landscape management, renewable energies and livestock farming in 13 exhibition halls and over the total exhibition area of 18 hectares. Some 750 exhibitors attend Tarmstedt with their products and services.

AGRAVIS Raiffeisen AG and the twelve Raiffeisen cooperatives from the Elbe-Weser triangle invite visitors to the Raiffeisen Meeting Point. AGRAVIS Special Feedstuff Products will be informing visitors about new developments and products. Visitors will learn all about the hygiene concepts provided by Desintec, about Crystalyx, the high-grade lick supplement feed, and about the Miravitprevention and support range for healthy animals. The Raiffeisen VitaMiral mineral feed, the CombiMilk milk replacer for calves and lambs as well as silaging and preserving agents will also be on display. As in recent years, visitors will benefit from attractive offers.

The AGRAVIS Technik Group will be presenting its extensive agricultural machinery and small machines range. This includes practical demonstrations where customers can try things out for themselves. The showcase also focuses on customer care.

Two large marquees form the centre of the Raiffeisen Meeting Point once more: the House and Garden Market Tent and the Raiffeisen Meeting Point tent. This is where visitors will find the extensive Raiffeisen Markets range for gardens, pets, home and DIY enthusiasts, textiles and equestrian sports. AGRAVIS focuses on sustainability at its Raiffeisen Meeting Point, where it will serve coffee and other products in sustainable containers. Raisa eG instigated the Raiffeisen Market tent this year with the AGRAVIS Markets division helping out with planning, installation and customer consultation.

The outdoor area at the Raiffeisen Meeting Point will be transformed into a large garden. Visitors will be able to closely examine garden furniture, barbecues, garden and balcony plants and much more and will be invited to barbecue demonstrations. New garden furniture will be used as seating and will be sold at a special price after the trade fair.
There's also something for the little ones: they can let off steam in a play corner and on the model farm.

AGRAVIS Raiffeisen AG is also funding a sports campaign for young people in rural areas in the region.

Mud football tournament in Tarmstedt

Playing football is always fun, but what about playing football in mud? It promises a great deal of action for the adventurous and choice entertainment for spectators, and it's all for a good cause. The Lower Saxony Rural Youth Organisation, the trade magazine Land & Forst, the Tarmstedt Exhibition and AGRAVIS Raiffeisen AG invite visitors to the mud football tournament on the Tarmstedt Exhibition grounds from 11am on Saturday 13 July.

AGRAVIS has organised entertaining sports activities in cooperation with aforementioned partners for many years, causing a sensation during the Tarmstedt Exhibition, particularly for young visitors. AGRAVIS is giving away a cash prize of 1,000 euros, which will be donated to social projects.

This year, at least 16 teams with five players each will brave the mud and show that they know how to control the ball skilfully on any surface. The winning team will present the donation to Lower Saxony Rural Youth Organisation’s partner, Ghana e.V. Ghana e.V. was founded within the Lower Saxony Rural Youth Organisation, Niedersächsische Landjugend e.V., in 1988. It aims to actively provide development aid in the form of capacity development. It primarily assists women and young people.

The closing date for registration is 23 June. Registration and information at www.nlj.de/schlammfussball.
