Dr. Dirk Köckler

Dr. Dirk Köckler has been a member of the AGRAVIS Board of Management since 1 March 2019 and Chairman of the Board of Management since 14 March 2019. Köckler previously worked for the Rhineland Chamber of Agriculture (Bonn) and at the Institute for Agricultural Business Studies at the University of Bonn before moving to Raiffeisen Central Genossenschaft Nord West eG (RCG) in Münster. This was followed by positions at Raiffeisen Sauerland Hellweg Lippe eG and as Managing Director of Raiffeisen Waren GmbH in Kassel. As a trained farmer, Dr. Dirk Köckler has a strong affinity for rural areas and has learnt the agricultural trade "from the bottom up". He has a high level of expertise and market proximity in animal nutrition and plant cultivation.

Jan Heinecke
Jan Heinecke has been a member of the AGRAVIS Raiffeisen AG Board of Directors since 1 April 2022. The trained and qualified farmer had previously been Managing Director of Magdeburger Getreide GmbH since 2011 and managed the private agricultural trading company based in Vahldorf near Magdeburg. In addition to his practical work in agricultural trade, Heinecke has expertise in corporate finance, particularly in the area of structured trade finance, which he acquired during his time at Rabobank International, based in Frankfurt am Main, from 2002 to 2011. Today, he thus combines trading expertise, specialised knowledge as a banker and practical agricultural experience.

Hermann Hesseler
Hermann Hesseler has been a member of the AGRAVIS Board of Directors since 1 May 2019. He has been with the company since 1991, initially as an auditor for eight years and since 1999 as Head of Controlling, authorised signatory and for several years as a member of the Group Management Board. Hesseler has many years of management experience in the AGRAVIS Group and has gained insights into various operational and functional areas through his managerial cross-divisional function. He is thus characterised by financial expertise that goes hand in hand with in-depth detailed knowledge of AGRAVIS.

Jörg Sudhoff
Jörg Sudhoff transferred to AGRAVIS Raiffeisen AG on 1 January 2020. He previously worked for the Claas Group for more than two decades. He held various managing director positions there, most recently as Regional Managing Director Central Europe at Claas Global Sales GmbH in Harsewinkel. Sudhoff is a trained farmer and studied agricultural sciences after completing his vocational training. This specialised knowledge, coupled with his absolute expertise in agricultural technology, now enriches the AGRAVIS Board of Directors.
