Fodder rape

brassica napus

Fodder rape is characterised by a high leaf component, good yields, tastiness and compatibility, which is why it is also used as protein-rich quality feed. Due to the winter hardness and late sowing compatibility it is also used in winter catch crop and green fertiliser cultivation. Minimal soil requirements, good soil loosening as well as strong weed-suppressing young development are further advantages. Based on this multitude of advantages, the fodder rape is also used in the "PremiumSaat Wildacker Universal" game land mixture and in our mixtures of the Landesjägerschaft (State hunters association) Lower Saxony.
