AGRAVIS provides solutions for animal husbandry challenges

In view of the growing challenges faced by livestock producers, AGRAVIS Raiffeisen AG has noticed an increasing interest amongst livestock farmers in innovative concepts that can ensure the viability of their own businesses in the future. "When producing, feeding and rearing livestock, we need solutions that are ethically and environmentally sound, that improve both our efficiency and profitability and yet are still socially acceptable," said Dirk Bensmann, Member of the Board of Directors of AGRAVIS Raiffeisen AG, on Tuesday (15 November) at the opening of the EuroTier EuroTier trade fair in Hanover.

"As manufacturers and trade partners, we and the Raiffeisen cooperatives see it as our responsibility to provide farmers with solutions and support them in meeting these challenges whether they concern feeding, animal health or management." AGRAVIS are determined to be leaders in this field. For this reason, AGRAVIS presented their holistic strategies for the feedstuff feedstuff and animal hygiene animal hygiene sector at the EuroTier trade fair. The agricultural trading and service company is also presenting further fascinating strategies connected to animal husbandry. Subjects such as the longevity of dairy cows, duckweed as an alternative source of protein and many more can be investigated at their exhibition stand in hall 20 JO5.

Sales amounted to 577 million euro in the first six months of 2016.
