The aim of the presentation at the fair was to approach young people actively and to convince them that training in agribusiness is modern and exciting. The number of applicants is declining, which means that companies are already having difficulties in selecting suitable candidates. Apart from AGRAVIS Niedersachsen Süd GmbH AGRAVIS Niedersachsen Süd GmbH, AGRAVIS Technik Weser-Aller GmbH AGRAVIS Technik Weser-Aller GmbH, AGRAVIS Technik Raiffeisen GmbH AGRAVIS Technik Raiffeisen GmbH and NewTec West GmbH NewTec West GmbH gave presentations relating to their career opportunities.

"The 'Applicants' Evening' enabled young people not only to acquire information, but also to get an idea of their potential trainers and the practical training", said Henning Matthies, trainer and workshop foreman at AGRAVIS Technik Raiffeisen GmbH AGRAVIS Technik Raiffeisen GmbH.

The main applications were for the skilled trade of management assistant in wholesale and foreign trade (in both agricultural trade and the technologies) as well as that of mechanic for agricultural and construction machine technology for the companies' individual operating sites. At the AGRAVIS stand and at the external stand, eight employees from all companies offered advice to young people about career entry and training in the operating sites.
