Until the end of 2017, Ungerland will be in charge at AGRAVIS Kornhaus Ostwestfalen GmbH together with the long-time Managing Director Johannes Hofnagel. Hofnagel will then leave this position for health reasons. "We are extremely grateful to Johannes Hofnagel that he himself placed such a high value on a well-organized transition. This proves his enormous sense of responsibility. His outstanding entrepreneurial services for AGRAVIS Kornhaus Ostwestfalen GmbH are already established beyond doubt," Spinne said.
"I’m looking forward to working with Dirk Ungerland in the coming months," emphasized Johannes Hofnagel. This would ensure a seamless transition in the company management. "Dirk Ungerland does not just have excellent knowledge about the industry but also about the region." The new managing director comes from East Westphalia and lives with his family in Körbecke – right in the work area of AGRAVIS Kornhaus Ostwestfalen GmbH.
Johannes Hofnagel (59) has been managing director of AGRAVIS Kornhaus Ostwestfalen GmbH since 2005, following his managing position at Kornhaus Warburg. With Hofnagel as the head, the subsidiary of AGRAVIS Raiffeisen AG followed a steady course of improvement. AGRAVIS Kornhaus Ostwestfalen GmbH has 86 employees and an annual turnover of about 72 million Euros. It services its agricultural customers with six business locations in a triangle between Warburg in the south, Brakel in the north and Trendelburg in the east. A new agricultural business location is currently being developed between the Warburg districts Hohenwepel and Dössel, which will further increase the company’s performance capacity in the agricultural sector.
"An exciting and appealing task is waiting for me," Dirk Ungerland said, looking ahead. He expressed his gratitude that as of July, he would be able to grow into his job at Johannes Hofnagel’s side.
AGRAVIS Kornhaus Ostwestfalen GmbH is one of ten regional subsidiaries and investment companies of AGRAVIS Agrarholding GmbH which operate the direct agricultural retail business with the farmers.
