Customers will once again be treated to a vast show spread across 35,000 m² of exhibition space – 18,000 m² of which is covered. All four of the following companies will be showing their product portfolios – AGRAVIS Technik companies Münsterland-Ems, AGRAVIS Technik BvL as well as AGRAVIS Technik Center and TecVis. The large new and used farm machine exhibition has become a permanent event fixture. AGRAVIS Technik will have huge combine harvesters and forage harvesters with power ratings up to 1,000 HP on display in the outdoor areas and exhibition halls in Meppen, as well as equipment such as hedge cutters and debris blowers. A total of more than 800 machines for a wide range of applications will be on show.
A comprehensive offering in various price and performance categories
The range of products includes machines made by big-name producers in various price and performance categories that are suitable for use on part-time as well as large farms and by contractors. Lease and demonstration agricultural machines will also be on show.
All the machines on display in Meppen mean that anyone who is interested in recent used farm machinery will have plenty to look at. Quality-tested used equipment will include tractors, combine harvesters, forage harvesters and equipment for transportation, potato harvesting and crop spraying. The farm machinery show will be complemented by a display of small-scale and garden equipment, with everything from chain saws, ride-on lawn mowers and robotic lawn mowers to sweepers and snow ploughs.
An attractive supporting programme
The show aims to appeal to visitors of all ages as well as professionals and machinery fans from the surrounding business area from Dörpen to Borken, Coesfeld and Ascheberg through to Olfen. Families can therefore look forward to an attractive array of activities and stalls, including face painting, a bouncy castle, and the chance to buy decorative accessories for the home and garden.
Socially, the centre of attention will be on the ‘kitchen workshop’, where visitors can enjoy tea, coffee and cakes and buy home-made jams and liqueurs as well as local sausage and cheese specialities to take home. On Saturday, an early evening drink will be available, with the ceremonial tapping of the beer barrel taking place at 5.30 p.m. Guests can then enjoy hearty food, 250 litres of free beer and live music in the marquee. The evening will progress seamlessly into the ‘Farmers’ Power Party’ with DJ Ralf starting at 9.30 p.m.
