AGRAVIS competition for the K+K Cup: Funny, creative photos of horses and riders
“My horse and I in matching clothes”: AGRAVIS Raiffeisen AG’s photography competition in the run-up to the 2017 K+K Cup caught the imagination of the region’s equestrian sport enthusiasts. Online voting via the AGRAVIS Facebook channel produced almost 3,000 votes for the ten funniest photos on the net that had been preselected by a jury. The vote over a period of two days attracted 125,000 users.

"Wow. Impressive statistics. These figures strikingly reflect how popular this tournament is,” comments Bernd Homann, Head of Communications at AGRAVIS, describing the response to this campaign. The AGRAVIS Group has supported this traditional tournament for many years through its Markets division and its subsidiaries Vovis Automobile GmbH and Derby Spezialfutter GmbH.
Competition entrants demonstrate creativity and a sense of humour
The entrants who sent the five photos that received the most likes can look forward to: Watching all the live action during the team dressage event on Raiffeisen Markets Day from AGRAVIS’s executive box with their friends and acquaintances. Seats in the Halle Münsterland for this first high point of the K+K Cup sold out ages ago. “We are delighted that Ann-Katrin Borghoff from Drensteinfurt, Ann-Christin Bock from Schenklengsfeld, Kerstin Schober from Ennepetal, Inga Schwegmann from Münster and Robin Bartmann from Sendenhorst-Albersloh will be our guests in the Halle Münsterland on 12 January,” says Homann. Rider and horse both clad in pink, each wearing a home-knitted blue bobble hat or dressed as a Pikachu Pokémon, fans of the German two-legged and four-legged squad and a young farmer with his horse in the hay – both wearing a straw hat and knee breeches: The five winning photos were delightfully creative and humorous.
The photos can be viewed on Raiffeisen Markets Day on the big video cube in the Halle Münsterland or here.
