An emotive website for the Industriegemeinschaft Münster
2015 was a good year for Münster's association of industrial companies, the Industriegemeinschaft Münster. "Through different public campaigns such as tree planting along the promenade and during the dragon boat cup in the harbour, we succeeded in raising awareness for industry's concerns," emphasised Dr. Clemens Große Frie, Chairman of the Managing Board at AGRAVIS Raiffeisen AG, and Wolfgang Fritsch-Albert, Chairman of the Managing Board at Westfalen AG. The pair are currently spokespersons for the association.

The name "Industriegemeinschaft Münster", which can be translated literally as "Münster Industrial Association", is a clear indication of the close cooperation between the companies. And the association of companies from different industries now also has an online presence as the Industriegemeinschaft Münster. "We wish to use this platform to inform of industrial issues and to arouse interest for products and production processes among the people," explain Große Frie and Fritsch-Albert.
The www.industrie-muenster.de website welcomes visitors with a large photo directly on the homepage. For "Products made in Münster" are presented by employees from the respective companies. Thus Florian Thier, Product Manager at Stricker GmbH & Co. KG, introduces his favourite product – a special door system for the rail sector to use in service halls: "The train length often means that the hall doors cannot be closed. We have developed solutions for this. Particularly in the winter, this improves the working conditions and reduces the energy costs." The company employees were photographed during a photo session in Münster especially for this occasion. "It was really fun," reports Ralf Lünebrink, Head of Rotation at the Aschendorff company group.
Users will naturally also find background information and interesting facts on industry in Münster in addition to useful advice on the many career opportunities the involved Münster industrial companies offer on www.industrie-muenster.de. "A successful presence that is now continuously updated and will soon also be complemented with further companies," explains Dr. Eckhard Göske from the North Westphalia Chamber of Commerce and Industry that coordinates the activities of the Industriegemeinschaft Münster.
