RPellets – hefty win goes to Bergheim
Rita Pütz from Bergheim-Niederaußem was delighted to receive three tons of wood pellets, just in time for the heating period. The RPellets were donated by Raiffeisen Bio-Brennstoffe GmbH, a holding company of AGRAVIS Raiffeisen AG. Buir-Bliesheimer Agrargenossenschaft eG, a partner in the national cooperative network for the sale of wood pellets delivered the prize to the lucky winner.

As one of over 600 boiler owners in North Rhine-Westphalia to participate in this year's "NRW weeks of wood pellets and solar thermal energy", Rita Pütz agreed to open her cellar to interested consumers and to show them her wood pellet heating system. By way of thanks, the Aktion Holzpellets market initiative of the EnergieAgentur.NRW raffled off three tons of pellets among the participants in this scheme. Larissa Mathiszik, Manager of the Aktion Holzpellets market initiative, congratulated the winner.
"As a more environmentally friendly and CO2-neutral energy source with comfortable combustion technology, wood pellets represent a genuine alternative for end users," says Mathiszik. Rita Pütz switched from oil heating to the sustainable and energy-efficient wood pellets six years ago – and has been a huge fan of the little pellets ever since. "The fuel is renewable and cost-effective in the long term," raves the convinced pellet heating fan, "the right decision on all fronts!"
According to surveys, wood pellet boiler owners are more than satisfied with their heating. One good reason for other consumers to convince themselves of the benefits of the heating method – and for boiler owners to register their system on www.aktion-holzpellets.de.
