Combating green amaranth

- If you want to do something good for your soil while preventing the spread of green amaranth, you should think about cultivating rape.
In contrast to grain and corn, rape can reliably combat green amaranth with activation class K preparations (cell growth inhibitors) for preventing further selection. Products containing metazachlor are used in a lot of spray applications in pre-emergence or early post-emergence. Depending upon the type of soil and quantity used, this spells out substantial reductions and growth inhibition with green amaranth. Of course, at least 750 grams of metazachlor are needed per hectare (for instance, 2.5 litres per hectare of Katamaran Plus).
The decisive treatment at the end of the vegetation period is using Propyzamid, although using Kerb Flo not only provides a reliable effect, but also something akin to disinfection of the upper five to ten centimetres. This is a good way to clearly reduce the pressure in the following grain with high quantities of green amaranth. Furthermore, since no deep soil cultivation is necessary after rape, the obnoxious grass pressure is much lower with flat soil cultivation by using kerb. This might be as follows
Reliably combating green amaranth calls for a series of sprays of effective grass herbicides on some locations. This might be as follows:
First of all, sufficient amounts of metazachlor should be used at heavy locations with high green amaranth density. For a very high clay content and extreme obnoxious grassing, the approved 1000 grams of metazachlor per hectare must be used by combining products. This can be, for example, a mixture of 2.5 litres of Katamaran Plus per hectare and 0.5 litres of Butisan per hectare. On lighter locations with lower buffering capacity, a maximum of 750 grammes of metazachlor can be used. This measure reduces green amaranth by up to 60 percent.
Afterwards, the second action can be taken if as much obnoxious grass as possible has gathered. Focus Ultra or Select 240 EC are used in the three leaf stage of obnoxious grass with the second date. If there is low self-sown cereal stocking, this date is sufficient for control. Focus Ultra and Select 240 EC are active ingredients from high-resistance endangered activation class A which means they are in the same groups as Agil or Traxos and Axial from grain. Of course, they have a much greater stability which is why they should be included in the strategy if the green amaranth pressure is too high to wait to the kerf date. Focus Ultra should be used with 2.5 litres per hectare plus 1.0 litres per hectare of Dash. Select 240 EC is used 0.5 litres per hectare plus 1.0 litre of Para Sommer per hectare. Select should not be used before the frost comes and application should be completed by the beginning of October. It is noticeable that Select 240 EC can have a somewhat more stable effect at some locations. Use is recommended if sufficiently long vegetation is to be expected.
Kerb Flo is used at 1.875 litres per hectare for the final elimination of trailers at the third date. The continued spread of green amaranth lets the expensive combating strategy not be anything more than propolising. It is absolutely necessary to effectively fight obnoxious grassing. Rape offers the chance of reliably controlling obnoxious grass. This is why proceeding uncompromisingly promises successful husbandry in the long term with a combination of crop rotation, soil cultivation and using less resistance-endangered herbicides.
