In the Top 500 corporate ranking in the German economy, AGRAVIS Raiffeisen AG has again improved its sales ranking by two places. The agricultural company based in Münster and Hanover was in place 102 in the corporate ranking for 2013, which the German daily newspaper "Die Welt" has just published – two positions higher than one year ago. "The result corresponds to our growth course," was Chairman Dr. Clemens Grosse Frie comment on the ranking. Last year, the turnover of AGRAVIS Raiffeisen AG grew to more than Euro 7.5 billion. For 2014, the head of AGRAVIS again expects a turnover of more than Euro 7 billion. ""Under the current circumstances in the market, which include the Crimean crisis, marketing challenges in the feedstuffs industry and the growing currency exchange rate risk, this would represent a solid step of growth for us," said Dr. Grosse Frie.
Volkswagen continues to head the ranking, while companies such as Edeka and Total are ranked close to AGRAVIS. Beyond this, it ranks ahead of well-known corporate groups such as Beiersdorf or Sandoz..
