"RPellets" is the new member of the "RFamilie"
There was a two-day conference at AGRAVIS Raiffeisen AG in Münster, Germany on the trademark launch of RPellets. Raiffeisen Bio-Brennstoffe GmbH (RBB), an associated company of AGRAVIS, invited agricultural cooperative societies from this entire area of work.

More than 80 agricultural cooperative societies are marketing partners of RBB in Germany who supply customers with wood pellets. Oliver Korting, the managing director at RBB, explains the idea behind this special gathering: "We have built up a very good reputation in the last ten years that we should now utilise and expand on". They want to establish the trademark of RPellets in the near future under the well-known slogan of "Energy for Feeling Good". Along with „RGas“, RSolar and RStrom (soon), RPellets will become another members in the growing R-family.
The main idea is coordinating our image for selling wood pellets while giving customers greater orientation. After all, the range of products on the market has become almost overwhelming. This is why Korting stresses the fact that "RPellets is an independent trademark that stands for performance, trust and seriousness" They offer the RPellets both as loose goods supplied by tank wagon and in sacks. Furthermore, they have expanded their marketing network by working with the agricultural cooperative societies. In spite of this, there are still some levers that need to be pulled for improvement.
The market for wood pellets has been growing constantly for years. In Germany alone, there are more than 320,000 pellet heaters and the annual production of the 60 pellet factories is about 3.2 million tons.
"Apart from building up the brand, the conference is for us to meet and share information with each other, says Korting. Because sales and the quality of the services have to be appropriate, as well as the product itself. The cooperation conference is designed to highlight new requirements early and for corresponding measures to be instigated.
