Guests informed themselves about trends in their line of business, cultivation methods and modern agricultural technology. Many of them also stopped over at the stand of the AGRAVIS station. "At the DLG Field Days we presented ourselves with many pertinent solutions for farmers and demonstrated that we will not leave anybody alone with his questions. Most visitors to the stand were very interested and asked for detailed information. The DLG Field Days are important for us and have been very successful this year as well," AGRAVIS Member of the Managing Board Dirk Bensmann stressed.
Besides, Bensmann also welcomed a guest of honour to the AGRAVIS stand: Federal Minister of Agriculture Christian Schmidt was on a walkabout of the fair grounds and stopped at some selected stations. Together with DLG Chairman Carl-Albrecht Bartmer and the Minister of Agriculture for Saxony-Anhalt Dr. Hermann Onko Aeikens, Schmidt informed himself about the range of services offered by the local agricultural trading firm and service provider and he and the AGRAVIS experts discussed the trials that had been set up.
Subsequent to 2012, AGRAVIS Raiffeisen AG was once more co-organiser of the DLG Field Days and this year presented itself in Bernburg-Strenzfeld with a 3000 square metre stand with the slogan "All from one source". Employees from the AGRAVIS technology departments provided information about technical details of the ISARIA nitrogen sensor that had been set up at the stand together with other on-site agricultural machinery. The AGRAVIS crop cultivation experts explained the use of the nitrogen sensor and the associated fertilisation plan. In addition, they provided visitors with information and hints regarding their crop cultivation trials. Further topics covered were the strip-till cultivation method for rapeseed, catch crop, corn cultivation as well as grassland care.
