- Thorsten Krüger from personnel management and Eva Sebbel from personnel development at AGRAVIS Raiffeisen AG are delighted with the Focus Employer Award for 2016.
“We received the Best Employer accolade for the third time. It’s an honour and a pleasure to receive this award, particularly as it is not given by a judging panel but is voted for by employees themselves and is therefore testimony to our corporate culture, which values our staff highly. And we will not rest on our laurels. We have to keep on earning our excellent reputation as an employer and we will continue working to do so,” said Dr Clemens Große Frie, Chairman of the Board at AGRAVIS Raiffeisen AG, and Personnel Manager Uta Löffler. The awards were presented at a ceremony in Berlin.
Judging was based on assessments of the leadership skills of managers, career opportunities, salary levels and the image of the company. In addition, the willingness of employees to recommend the company as an employer was also included in the reckoning. In all, over 70,000 employee responses were included in the evaluation.
AGRAVIS achieved second place for large companies with over 2,000 employees, ahead of many big-name employers. In the field of raw, energy, supply and disposal AGRAVIS came third among the large companies, again beating many other prestigious names. And a fourth place among large companies with over 2,000 employees in the retail category made more than a few people sit up and take notice.
Employees of all ages and from all rungs of the career ladder were surveyed for the awards. Employers were also assessed via the Kununu website and the results included in the overall evaluation. The results revealed the best 1,000 employers with over 500 employees, representing 22 different industries.
