AGRAVIS field evening: Insight into the current assortment landscape

How does maize grow best? This was the question under discussion at the AGRAVIS field evening at the St. Mauritz test farm in Münster St. Mauritz test farm in Münster on 3 September 2014. Maize farming was on the programme from 17 hours, along with useful information from variety selection to fertilising strategies.

Among other things, the field evening provides an insight into the current assortment landscape. The varieties newly licensed in 2014 were presented, which are compared to the tried and teted varieties on the market. Based on this year's experiences and the results of the previous year, the AGRAVIS crop farming consultants provide tangible regional assortment recommendations.
In addition, the various fertilising tests were explained, especially the comparison of manure spreading in different processes and strategies.

All visitors are then invited to discuss practical experience and test information with the AGRAVIS experts and colleagues. Interested people are warmly welcome to the AGRAVIS test farm in Sankt Mauritz, Werse 23, 48157 Münster on 3 September 2014 from 17.00 hours.
