DoFu Donaufutter GmbH is a subsidiary of AGRAVIS Raiffeisen AG. The animal feed companies in the AGRAVIS Group – Blattin, Equovis, HL Hamburger Leistungsfutter, Höveler and Vitavis – have successfully sold special feed in southern Germany for many years. Since the summer of 2016, the new animal feed plant has enabled the production of special and compound feed in the region. Long transport routes are no longer necessary. Close to the customer with strong brands – this basic principle of the AGRAVIS Group now also applies to DoFu Donaufutter GmbH and its sales partners.
Feed from the region for the region: Since the summer of 2016, DoFu Donaufutter GmbH has produced feedstuff in Straubing, South Germany, for its successful animal feed sales companies Höveler/Blattin, Equovis and Vitavis and HL Hamburger Leistungsfutter.
The most important data for the plant:
- Raw material silo: 38 cells with 3,600 cubic metres of contents and three liquid tanks
- Mixing facility: capacity of 30 tonnes per hour with retrofitted mixer
- Mineral feed facility: mixing output of six tonnes per hour
- Loading: 24 loading cells with 1,500 cubic metres of contents; output of 40 tonnes per hour; eight mineral feed loading cells with 56 cubic metres of contents and 20 tonnes of output per hour
