With the message 'Agriculture is colorful', we are setting an example and clearly positioning ourselves as a profession against rightists. Agriculture stands for diversity, mutual respect and tolerance in our dealings with one another. We stand for peaceful coexistence and a commitment to a free and democratic basic order."

Agriculture as a pillar of society

Susanne Schulze Bockeloh, Chairwoman of the Münster District Agricultural Association: "The minds, farms and perspectives in agriculture are colorful. Our profession is characterized by diversity. We are a strong pillar of our society and have positioned ourselves early on against extremism and radicalism and continue to do so clearly. We actively stand for democracy and social cohesion - there is no alternative."

Cooperative network as a community of values

"In line with our corporate culture, we are taking a clear stand for our constitutional state in Germany," emphasizes Dr. Dirk Köckler for AGRAVIS. "That is why we support the many rallies and movements that have seen numerous people take to the streets across the country in recent weeks. We are doing this from the heart of society with young and old in East and West." At the same time, the entire cooperative association sees itself as a strong community of values for sustainability.

Diversity, tolerance and respect

"Values such as diversity, tolerance and respect are firmly anchored in our corporate philosophy ," explains Dr. Wilhelm Uffelmann, CEO of Westfleisch. "Wherever possible, we clearly distance ourselves from all actions and behaviors that contradict these principles and are committed to an open society and mutual understanding."

Demand for a fact-based policy

The regional initiators of "Our agriculture is colorful" are united in their demand for a fact-based policy that does justice to the systemic relevance of domestic agriculture for the supply of high-quality food.
