Focus employer award: AGRAVIS still leading the way
For the fifth time in succession, AGRAVIS Raiffeisen AG has been recognised in the national Best Employer Awards, organised by Focus magazine in collaboration with the job portals Xing and Kununu, receiving the award for Top National Employer of 2018. The agricultural trading and service company with offices in Münster and Hanover has therefore been confirmed as one of Germany’s best employers in 2018.

This certainly didn’t happen by itself – it is down to the way we have invested in making ourselves attractive as an employer. Having said that, the award is a great incentive for the future.”
127,000 employer evaluations
The survey rated the qualities of employers from an employee perspective, covering aspects such as image, management style, professional prospects, salary and internal communications. In addition, the willingness of employees to recommend the company as an employer was also included in the reckoning. In all, over 127,000 employee responses were included in the evaluation.
Two appearances in the top 10
AGRAVIS made the top 10 in two categories: in the wholesale area the company claimed third place out of 1,000 large business with over 2,000 employees, while AGRAVIS came sixth in the retail category. AGRAVIS also secured a 15th place finish among large-scale businesses in the resources, energy, supply and disposal category. In the overall ranking of the thousand participating companies, AGRAVIS was placed 210.
The criteria were assessed by employees of different ages and career stages. Employers were also assessed via the Kununu website, with the results included in the overall evaluation. The results revealed the top 1,000 employers with over 500 employees.
