Full house at our open day
"It was crazy what was going on here", said Rolf Blömker amazed. The branch manager for AGRAVIS Technik BvL GmbH in Ladbergen and his 23 employees were delighted to have a completely packed open day on the first Sunday of March. A good six months after AGRAVIS BvL put its new Ladbergen location into operation, Rolf Blömker's team invited all interested parties to come and visit.

And the guests came in droves the whole day. "There had to be about 15,000 over the course of the day," estimated Frank Cirksena, managing director of AGRAVIS Technik BvL GmbH together with Frank Fohrmann. Already that morning it was clear that the car park was nowhere near big enough; their colleagues then spontaneously organised a shuttle bus service from the village to the location. The local young rural population actively supported AGRAVIS with finding parking spaces.
The visitors marvelled at the large and small machinery, looked around the workshop, looked over the shoulder of a chainsaw artist and found out about the wide range on offer at AGRAVIS. The Danish manufacturer of muck and manure equipment Samson Agro, who set up their first professional centre in Germany at AGRAVIS-Technik in Ladbergen, gave specialist talks and also presented their product portfolio.
"We were busy the whole day long. It was bombastic," said Blömker delighted. "For us it was a reward for all the work that we all put into the move and now into the open day."
Already on Friday evening, 300 invitees were convinced by the size and quality of the new location. At a casually presented ceremony, the two managing directors of BvL, Frank Fohrmann and Frank Cirksena, Johannes Schulte-Althoff, AGRAVIS Raiffeisen AG board member, Udo Decker-König, the mayor of Ladbergen, Dr. Benjamin Schutte, managing director and spokesperson for the management of Claas Vertriebsgesellschaft mbH, as well as Torben Larsen, head of sales and marketing at Samson Agro, all offered greetings and good wishes to the AGRAVIS Technik BvL employees.
Branch manager Rolf Blömker got his whole team up on stage and thanked his colleagues for the committed work they had put into the move from Lengerich to Ladbergen and into the preparations for the official opening and the following days of open house. The symbolic key was presented to him by Andreas Bröker from AGRAVIS Construction. Farmer Heinrich Schulte-Brömmelkamp poked fun at agriculture in his humorous contribution. The successful evening was rounded off with a fascinating fire show.
