- The start of Raiffeisen Münsterland West GmbH’s activities was welcomed by: Berthold Kreikenberg (Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Raiffeisen Coesfeld-Ahaus eG), Managing Director Rainer Brunn, Johannes Schulte-Althoff (Managing Board of AGRAVIS Raiffeisen AG) and Dr Philipp Spinne (Division Manager of AGRAVIS Agricultural Centres).
The company’s ten sites are spread across an area bounded by Vreden/Ahaus to the west, Heek to the north, Altenberge to the east and Coesfeld to the south. Raiffeisen Münsterland West GmbH has an annual turnover of over 70 million euros and employs 49 staff who were all taken on from predecessor companies.
“Consolidating the operational activities of the two companies opened up future-oriented prospects for members and employees, as well as for our customers in the region,” says Rainer Brunn, Managing Director of Raiffeisen Münsterland West GmbH. “We intend to cooperate successfully with farmers on a long-term basis,” continues Brunn. This is why it was so important to face up to structural change in agriculture proactively and create high-performance, efficient, future-oriented structures from the outset. Rainer Brunn is due to retire about six months into 2017 and has been assisted in his management duties from early January onwards by his successor Felix Große Verspohl.
