As part of the restructuring of AGRAVIS Technik activities in Westphalia and in western Lower Saxony, the Fürstenau location will take over the sales of the Agco/Fendt and Valtra retail for the Bersenbrück region as well as the bordering districts of Emsland and Steinfurt. The reorganisation of the AGRAVIS Technik companies came into force on 1 January 2016. The new branding strategy "One location – one brand" includes the separation of sales by the two brands Agco/Fendt and Claas.
Nine employees at the new location
The AGRAVIS site in Fürstenau comprises 4,000 square metres and offers enough space for the 200 square metres of sales and consultation rooms as well as a modern workshop of 550 square metres open to all brands with storage for replacement parts (200 square metres) for all areas of agricultural machines and garden equipment/municipal equipment. Furthermore, a new Stihl/Viking shop has been set up. Nine colleagues work at the Fürstenau location in total.
Strong regional presence
The two Managing Directors of AGRAVIS Münsterland-Ems GmbH, Heinz-Georg Mors and Stefan Ester, explain, "In order to be able to optimally manage the area for our customers, we looked for a suitable location in this region and found one in Fürstenau. The AGRAVIS Technik Group is now strongly represented in the region with its Fürstenau, Bersenbrück, Hörstel and Meppen locations. We want a presence in the region." Operations Manager, Martin Büscher, adds, "For us, it's the service concept and the proximity to the customer that count."
