The special feature of the university rankings university rankings : Students and tutors swap places, as the students now issue marks and take a critical look at various disciplines within their training institutions. The teaching fields of plants, animals, economics, and technology are also put under the microscope as well as teaching staff, the student body, and studying conditions. Vocational preparation for practical experience, knowledge, and upstream and downstream sectors are evaluated.

The prize-giving ceremony for the Agrarhochschulranking took place as part of the EuroTier trade fair in Hanover between 15 and 18 November. As a representative of AGRAVIS Raiffeisen AG, Eva Sebbel was responsible for "certificate presentation" to the best universities and technical colleges, including the presentation for the "Best Job Preparation For Practical Experience" category. "Our experience shows that experiences in the job provide graduates with a different wide of challenges. Personal skills are the main factor for success alongside professional expertise. I therefore advise students to obtain as much practical experience on the job either before or during the course." The Kiel University of Applied Sciences obtained the best rating. Over 5,000 agriculture students from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland largely confirmed that their universities carried out good work. As in previous years, there is still "room for improvement within the teaching field of agricultural machinery". The detailed rankings with all winners and comprehensive information can be found in the coming weeks on agravis.de as well as in the supplement and on the Top Agrar website at Top Agrar website at .
