AGRAVIS Technik BvL GmbH at new location Ladbergen with immediate effect
For customers it is a manageable move of just twelve kilometres, for employees of AGRAVIS Technik BvL GmbH it is a quantum leap. Since the beginning of September, 25 colleagues of AGRAVIS Technik company have been working at the new location, Ladbergen. Prior to which they were at Lengerich.

"We simply did not have enough space at Lengerich," explained Frank Cirksena with Frank Fohrmann, Managing Director of AGRAVIS Technik BvL GmbH. 3,000 square metres were available to colleagues. Since the re-organisation of the AGRAVIS Technik company in the Westphalia region and western Lower Saxony, which came into force 01 January 2016, AGRAVIS Technik BvL GmbH is the only distributing partner of the brand Claas. The workshop remains brand-open. From Olfen in the Coesfeld District to Meppen in the Emsland District, respectively 20 kilometres north and south beyond the locations, stretches the domain of the new company.
First newly built location since re-structuring
"It was immediately clear: It could not go on at the location Lengerich. Therefore we were at the outlook for a new location at which we could present our entire product and service portfolio," explained Cirksena. Ladbergen is the first newly built location since the re-structuring of the company.
In November of 2015 the construction work began at Rickermanns Esch 8 in Ladbergen. The Areal encompasses 15,000 square metres within direct proximity of the Autobahn, the B 475 and with Münster/Osnabrück airport on the doorstep. An excellent connection, which can be reached without any problem even by the harvester and with plenty of space for the sales of agricultural engineering machines and devices, for repair, maintenance and replacement services, as well as showrooms and offices. The new workshop is 650 square metres and has a lifting platform, a 5 tonne indoor crane and extraction system with the most modern machinery. "On the one hand we offer a particular quality that our customers appreciate, on the other hand it reduces the workload of our colleagues and ensures more effective work," explains Cirksena.
Great interest from new customers
The customers will also gladly drive twelve kilometres more for it. Other than that, Cirksena and Branch Manager Rolf Blömker were able to observe great interest from new customers already within the first week. "We are drawing in customers from within a 35 kilometre radius and now have somewhere to optimally serve them," says Cirksena with excitement.
The Ladbergen location is spacious and built with a view for the future. "I have experienced that agricultural machinery locations become too small very quickly," explained Cirksena. He is even looking to the future in the personnel planning: "We currently have 25 employees. In the medium-term it could become 30 to 35." AGRAVIS Technik in Ladbergen now has sufficient space.
