New Raiffeisen experience world opened in Emsdetten

The new market is a joint project of Raiffeisen Bever-Ems eG and AGRAVIS Raiffeisen-Markt Holding GmbH, which are managed together within the newly established joint venture Raiffeisen-Markt Emsdetten GmbH. Jörg Stottrop from Emsdetten is the owner and investor.
Model store and reference for Raiffeisen Markets
After five months of construction, a model store and reference for Raiffeisen Markets has been erected, in which a ground-breaking shop design and range concept has been implemented. The creation of experience worlds combined with an individual customer orientation – these two challenges of modern retail will be implemented in a professional manner at the Raiffeisen Market in Emsdetten. The shop design will focus on emotionalisation.

“The strengths of the cooperatives and Raiffeisen Markets will be emphasised according to the motto of 'We live and breathe customer proximity': the reflection on the rural roots and local products. Local ties, the range’s top quality and first-rate advice are our trumps,” explained Thomas Wiesner, head of the Retailing section at AGRAVIS.
A site of around 6,000 m² in size is available at Grevener Damm 99 in Emsdetten. “A modern retail venue is established here,” described Martin Walbelder, Managing Director of Raiffeisen Bever-Ems eG. Product ranges for pets, fish, horse riding, gardening and functional clothing will be showcased here on a retail space of around 3,500 m².
Concept of Terres Marketing + Consulting GmbH
With regard to the range design and market layout, the concept from Terres Marketing + Consulting GmbH is implemented in a developed form. “Terres Marketing + Consulting GmbH, a subsidiary of AGRAVIS Raiffeisen AG, provides a holistic retail concept as system headquarters for Raiffeisen Markets and is the franchiser for the Raiffeisen Market in Emsdetten and more than 300 further markets,” explains Jörg Mohr, managing director of Terres Marketing + Consulting GmbH.
“We want to impress our customers,” emphasise Stefan Chmura and Jörg Mohr, managing directors of Raiffeisen-Markt Emsdetten GmbH. Store manager Ursula Schippmann and her 20 employees believe professional expertise and top-quality advice in all product areas are very important. For the team, the motto of “We live and breathe customer proximity” is not merely a slogan. The employees come from the region and are familiar with their customers' situation.
