Interaspa 2016: Positive results for AGRAVIS experts
AGRAVIS Raiffeisen AG showcased its extensive range of products relating to asparagus and strawberry growing at the two-day Interaspa exhibition in Hanover, which ended yesterday. At the show dedicated to asparagus, vegetables, berry fruit, direct marketing, weekly market suppliers and farm cuisine, more than 200 exhibitors from Europe showcased trends and new products in the industry.

At the stand, AGRAVIS employees were on hand to give useful advice on tillage, sowing, fertilising, crop protection and harvesting. This year there was a special focus on the application of fertilisers (foliar and soil) for asparagus as well as the various foil systems. The test station for the AGRAVIS app IQ Plant Pro attracted many customers, who came away with information on the new functions planned for the start of the 2016 growing season, such as the weather forecast for spraying and at-a-glance plant requirements. Special cultures expert at AGRAVIS, Frank Uwihs, is very pleased with this year’s Interaspa: “Integrating cultivation and foil systems was a concept that went down really well. We had some successful and in-depth discussion at the booth, many of them with international visitors.”
