- Roughly 100 agriculturists from Germany and the Netherlands caught up on the latest developments in asparagus plant protection, fertilisation and production technology at the 2nd Asparagus Field Day in Pennigsehl.
The agriculturists caught up on many topics during the guided tours through the test cultivars. For instance, discussions on how to most effectively protect asparagus plants against fungus infections could be overheard. How do leaf analyses on asparagus work and which conclusions can be drawn from the values? On these topics too, the AGRAVIS- crop cultivation experts provided a lot of information and tips.
Apart from the AGRAVIS experts, contact persons from different companies were at the agriculturists' disposal. They provided an overview of their range of articles and market novelties. Furthermore, AGRAVIS Technik introduced tractor technology for asparagus cultivation. While taking a snack, the agriculturists were able to exchange further information.
