At the roughly 15,000 square metre site, the branch now offers lots of space for the sale of agricultural technology machinery and devices including repair, maintenance and spare parts service and the sale of communal technololgy for the home, yard and garden.
"The new development is an important and correct step for the AGRAVIS Technik company, for we can present ourselves in a more customer-friendly and service-oriented manner," explains Wolfgang Diedrich, Director of AGRAVIS Technik Heide-Altmark GmbH. "With attractive and modern designed premises we want to better meet the needs of our customers and we can work more efficiently. In our old premises built in 1979, the working conditions were tight and the fittines were no longer up to date."
AGRAVIS Technik Heide-Altmark GmbH presented the modernised site at Kurze Strasse 10, 39576 Stendal, to customers and interested people with a open day. The got a cross-section of the next generation of agricultural equipment and a lot of used, although not old machines including building and gardening equipment from leading manufacturers at the roughly 8,000 square metre site. At the Stendal site, we will be showing the products of well-known manufacturers such as Fendt, Valtra, Krone, Amazone, Lemken, JCB and many others. The other premises are also ready for inspection: The around 800 square metre workshop is equipped with a lifting platform, ten-tonne crane, pit, as well as compressed air and extraction system. We also store around 5,500 spare parts from leading manufacturers in our 450-square metre spare parts warehouse.
"The new development was a real feat of strength for our 22 employees, for the demolition of hte existing buildings took plave on the same site," reports Jan Schliefke, branch manager in Stendal. "We had to build in two steps in order to maintain operations." However, the work was performed without interruption. The workshop was provisionally erected in a warehouse, for example, and the fitters had to work outside sometimes. "So we thank our employees and, of course, all those who supported us during the construction phase. The entire team is pleased that our customers can now be welcomed in a modern premises."
The opening is being celebrated on 10 May 2015 from 10 to 16 hours with a whole range of activities. All interested people are warmly invited to take a look behind the scenes of the technology branch.
