Stefan Hengehold from Nortrup enjoys fiddly tasks: The aerial photo competition in the magazine "Land & Forst" required entrants to identify 52 photographs of towns and villages from across Lower Saxony. With his good knowledge and extensive internet research, the farmer decoded the saying hidden in the place names, "Wer sich selber zum Esel macht, dem will jeder Säcke aufladen" (If you take on everything, people will keep giving you more to do).
The hard work paid off: Stefan Hengehold was able to secure second prize in the aeriel photo competition. He recently received his prize - a ride-on mower from Stiga Estate worth around Euro 3,000. The prize was made available by AGRAVIS Raiffeisen AG. Bernd Homann, head of AGRAVIS corporate communication, and Jens Riegamer, head publisher of Land & Forst, presented Stefan Hengehold with the vehicle at the Bersenbrück branch of AGRAVIS Technik Saltenbrock GmbH. The farmer needed the 13 hp mower: 4,000 square metres of fruit meadow in Artland, Osnabrück, have to be mowed and mulched regularly.
