Not every lime is suitable.
There is sufficient lime on the market; however, not every one of them is also suitable as lime fertiliser. For this reason, the following criteria have to be observed:
- Is the lime officially approved as a fertiliser type?
- Is the legally prescribed degree of fineness upheld?
- Can the lime be applied sensibly on a technical and agricultural level?
- Is a substance guarantee provided and upheld?
The natural lime or silicic acid limes have to comply with these requirements. They are only applied successfully under these conditions. The respective formula of the lime fertiliser depends on the clay content of the soil.
