AGRAVIS Technik Raiffeisen GmbH: opening ceremony in Bockenem
The new location in Bockenem has been in operation for a bit over three months now, and on the first weekend in April, a proper ceremony was held to mark the relocation of AGRAVIS Technik Raiffeisen GmbH. AGRAVIS Technik invited guests to the official opening on Friday, and on Saturday hundreds of visitors came to inaugurate the site at an open day with some great entertainment.

- The AGRAVIS Technik Raiffeisen GmbH team at the Bockenem location officially introduced themselves to the guests.
Saturday's main event was an all-day trade show, in which the neighbouring companies Holzhandlung Gundelach and AGRAVIS Niedersachsen-Süd also took part. The visitors looked around the state-of-the-art salesroom, visited the workshop and marvelled at demonstrations by two chainsaw artists. The children let off steam on the pedal tractor and lawn mower course.
"But the highlight is the cherry picker with a superb view of the Ambergau," said the delighted Branch Manager Patrick Renner, who was the first to go up in the machine in the morning. Visitors were lifted up to 50 metres in the air, from where they could see a bird's eye view of the new AGRAVIS Technik branch.
Managing Director Andreas Meister was pleased too: "We are delighted about the high demand for our motorised equipment and mowing technology, especially as this is a new venture for us in Bockenem."
Culinary specialities were also provided, in the form of coffee and cakes from the ladies of the Ambergau, ice cream from Hof Niehoff and grilled food from the event catering service of the Bockenem open-air pool.
On Friday evening, Branch Manager Patrick Renner welcomed invited guests to the official opening of the Bockenem location. Johannes Schulte-Althoff, Member of the Board of Directors of AGRAVIS Raiffeisen AG, handed over the location by presenting a giant key to the Bockenem team: "We wish you the very best of luck and we hope you are settling in well in your new premises."
Franz Grimme, owner of Grimme Landmaschinenfabrik Damme, gave a short talk on the subject of "Agricultural machinery in the challenging environment of the modern farming industry". Short welcoming speeches were also given by Rainer Block, Mayor of Bockenem, Dr. Thomas Stadler, representative of the Hildesheim District Farmers' Association, and Andreas Löwel, Sales Manager Germany at Agco Fendt GmbH. Andreas Meister and Patrick Renner concluded the official part with a big thank you to all the employees.
