- Here’s to good teamwork (from left): Wilhelm Jürgens, Kurt Beckschewe, Annemarie Beckschewe, Ina Beckschewe, Ulrich Beckschewe and Heinz-Walter Niedertopp.
The reason for this is the lack of succession within the Beckschewe family. “We are committed to the traditions of this company and are now focussing on its future together,” say Wilhelm Jürgens and Heinz-Walter Niedertopp, the Managing Directors of AGRAVIS Technik Saltenbrock GmbH, a subsidiary of AGRAVIS Raiffeisen AG. “By taking this step, our family will be able to offer the Espelkamp-Gestringen agricultural technology location to farmers in the district of Minden-Lübbecke and the neighbouring areas of Osnabrück and Herford, and we can provide secure prospects for all of our employees,” explain Ina and Ulrich Beckschewe.
AGRAVIS Technik Saltenbrock GmbH will take over the sales programme, which already involves the manufacturers Claas, Amazone, BvL and Schäffer. The service and the supply of spare parts for Case IH have been secured for the next few years by Espelkamp-Gestringen. The shop for small devices will remain the same, and the workshop will still be openly branded. All employees will be kept on. The previous owner, Ulrich Beckschewe, will continue to be a point of contact for sales. Ina Beckschewe will direct the location as an operations manager.
Wellpott Landtechnik GmbH was founded in 1830 and was taken over by Kurt and Annemarie Beckschewe (née Wellpott) in 1957.
AGRAVIS Technik Saltenbrock GmbH is an exclusive sales partner of the Claas brand within the AGRAVIS Technik Group for the regions of Ostwestfalen, Sauerland and eastern Osnabrück.
