Blue Service stands for established cooperation

21 medium-sized mineral oil dealers are currently operating in the national “Blue Service” network. The idea behind cooperation in this sales and logistics network for the fuel AdBlue AdBlue doesn’t just exist on paper. “It represents the constructive togetherness of the partners, who together are always looking for solutions to strengthen the performance of the entire network,” underlines Oliver Korting, Head of Fuels Fuels at AGRAVIS Raiffeisen AG.

The agricultural trade and service company based in Münster and Hanover performs central tasks for all participating mineral oil dealers and supplies the joint online sales channel blue-service.de blue-service.de.

The joint aim, to strengthen Blue Service overall, is according to Korting demonstrated by its company-wide solutions for delivery logistics. Geiger GmbH, a Shell brand partner based in Ansbach with branches in Bamberg and Selb, has invested in the acquisition of another AdBlue truck. “Using this vehicle, we also supply AdBlue for neighbouring Blue Service partners, Schmierstoffzentrum Süd GmbH and Adolf Präg GmbH & Co. KG,” reports Managing Director Norbert Geiger. “This creates a win-win situation for all participants: as a result, we can utilise our trucks economically, and other partners don’t have to invest in their own AdBlue vehicles.”

Cooperation model in Southern Germany

The cooperation model in Southern Germany runs in the same way also in other regions of Germany. Behrenswerth Energieservice GmbH, an affiliated company of AGRAVIS Raiffeisen AG, invested in the fleet and takes care of the delivery logistics for a number of Blue Service partners, for example mineral oil dealer Ludwig e.K. from Sandersdorf-Brehna, a new network partner. Ludwig is a medium-sized company and has been a reliable mineral oil and lubricant dealer in the Halle-Leipzig area since 1990.

Reliable, quick and flexible supply

A total of 15 trucks are currently operating in the AdBlue network. This ensures a reliable, quick and flexible supply for customers. The vehicles can transport up to 23,000 litres of AdBlue as loose goods to customers such as freight forwarders and petrol stations. The partner companies in the Blue Service network also offer an entire range of accessories for AdBlue, including mobile dispensing devices BlueMobil 60 and BlueMobil 60 eco, which have been specially developed for cars and small vans.

“The size and performance capacity we have achieved in the service network after around three years shows just how important it is to utilise synergies in such a rapidly changing market,” summarises Oliver Korting. Other cooperation partners are welcome at any time.
