"Nearly 60 Raiffeisen cooperatives and AGRAVIS Raiffeisen AG work very closely and successfully together in the interests of our customers," emphasises Carsten Kippschnieder, head of the petrol station business at AGRAVIS.
This cooperation has become additionally attractive in its agreement with the Tankstellen-Netz-Deutschland GmbH about a reciprocal card acceptance facility, so that motorists can use the Raiffeisen-Card in almost 600 petrol stations across Germany for cashless payments of fuel and – depending on the location – shop goods and car washing facilities.

The petrol station in Heiligenfelde is one of 19 belonging to Raiffeisen Niedersachsen Mitte eG. In 2016, the station received a new and attractive Raiffeisen design. Currently, the preparations for a comprehensive modernisation are taking place. In cooperation with the AGRAVIS Raiffeisen AG petrol station service, the station will be equipped with a new shop including an inviting bistro and a new, state-of-the-art gantry car wash. In addition to the usual petrol products, LPG is now offered and a fuel terminal can also be used to supply fuel outside shop opening hours.
Comprehensive cost control with convenient debiting
"A good two years after the start of the petrol station network, we can see how dynamically it has developed when we look at the number of network petrol stations as well as the number of petrol purchases made using the Raiffeisen Card – and the network continues to grow steadily," says Carsten Kippschnieder. "The Raiffeisen Card is very attractive both for private customers and for agricultural users and operators of larger vehicle fleets. It creates nationwide mobility, offers comprehensive cost control with convenient debiting and high standards in security. All these benefits mean it is an important sales and customer loyalty tool for cooperatives."
App offers orientation in the petrol station network
So that customers who are out and about do not to have to spend a long time searching for a petrol station, the network also offers a free app to help with orientation. It gives the location and range of services of each station and, if desired, navigates the driver to the nearest network petrol station.
The Raiffeisen Card can be obtained from participating cooperatives.
