“The room was full on both evenings”, celebrated Stefan Drenkpohl, Managing Director of the AGRAVIS subsidiary, “and we received very pleasing feedback. Many farmers welcome that AGRAVIS is now active in the region”, says Drenkpohl, describing the tenor of the feedback. AGRAVIS Bamberg GmbH was founded in the middle of 2016 and initially, as an agricultural centre, worked with farmers in the segments of fertiliser, crop protection and grain. Drenkpohl introduced AGRAVIS Bamberg and also the parent company AGRAVIS Raiffeisen AG to the audience. The farmers got useful recommendations from AGRAVIS specialists for applications for plant cultivation in the upcoming spring season, as well as important information on the fertiliser market, and in-depth analyses of the grain market with a quick look at the new harvest. “The presentations went down very well because many topics had cross-industry relevance,” reported Drenkpohl. AGRAVIS Bamberg GmbH will further expand its range of services in Bamberg port and offer grain collection in the decentralised regional stores for the first time for the 2017 harvest.
