AGRAVIS Niedersachsen-Süd GmbH welcomes 1,500 clients
The Plant Cultivation conferences organised by AGRAVIS Niedersachsen-Süd GmbH (ANS) has a long history. ANS also invited farmers, contractors and agricultural students from its field of work on twelve different occasions at the beginning of the year to inform them of the newest developments in plant cultivation, to introduce research results from the previous year and to give recommendations for 2017.

- There is lots of interest in AGRAVIS Niedersachsen-Süd GmbH’s Plant Cultivation conferences. Around 300 clients are taking part in the event today (8 February 2017) in Bodenwerder-Buchhagen.
The topics of grain herbicides and fungicides, fertilization, rapeseed, sugar beets, AGRAVIS NetFarming and water quality were featured on the agenda. Clients could then participate in a training session on the Ordinance concerning expert knowledge in plant protection (PflSchSachkV), which ANS ran in cooperation with the Landwirtschaftskammer Niedersachsen (Lower Saxony Chamber of Agriculture). “We have been overwhelmed by the high level of interest by our clients”, says ANS Managing Director Rainer Widdel. “Around 1,500 clients have registered for the conference date. Thus, the demand was even greater than in previous years.” The new season is just around the corner and general conditions have been further exacerbated by politics and policies. “It is therefore very important to be on a level playing field with our clients in terms of plant cultivation. The positive response shows us that we struck the right chord with this offer”, says Widdel, who is drawing a positive preliminary conclusion.
That leaves two events still to come:
