Develop position in the pellet market with "Fidipell"
A new, supra-regional brand association consisting of Raiffeisen Bio-Brennstoffe GmbH and strong partners from the energy trade is operating in the growing market for wood pellets. This association distributes ENplus A1 certified wood pellets under the brand name "Fidipell". One of the partners involved is Behrenswerth Energieservice GmbH in Hilter, who, like Raiffeisen Bio-Brennstroffe GmbH, is an associated company of AGRAVIS Raiffeisen AG.

Behrenswerth's Managing Director, Rainer Behrenswerth, expressed himself on the expansion of the market presence through the new brand "Fidipell", in an interview.
How did the name "Fidipell" come about?
Behrenswerth: The brand name is made up of two parts: fidus is Latin and means "reliable, true". The last syllable "pell" stands for pellets, of course. "Fidipell" is therefore a synonym for premium wood pellets from a regional production, for reliable delivery, high supply reliability and first-class service.
Why create a new brand?
Behrenswerth: This year the wood pellet market in Germany is on the move. The strong association of Raiffeisen Bio-Brennstoffe GmbH and their partners such as Behrenswerth Energieservice GmbH, are known on the market and dispose of a sound know-how. Performance strength of decentralised warehouse capacities, a regional rooting with pronounced customer proximity and quality pellets from various reputable producers offer, from our point of view, a considerable potential to expand the presence and market share in brand trading with a new strong brand.
Where are "Fidipell" pellets manufactured, also overseas?
Behrenswerth: No, the "Fidipell" wood pellets are certified to ENplus A1 standard and originate from German production. The quality of the goods is very important to us, therefore we exclusively use raw materials that come from natural woods in the region.
How do you ensure quality management?
Behrenswerth: Here the partnership with Raiffeisen Bio-Brennstoffe GmbH pays off. They take over the superior tasks such as quality assurance, coordination of procurement and the wholesale distribution such as marketing, for the associated energy traders. The examples show how many synergies can be used as a result of the partnership. Already today this network has a high impact which is being expanded again by involving further partners and an optimisation of logistics.
