The subsidiary of AGRAVIS Futtermittel GmbH, which has to date traded under the name of Heinfelder Schweinezucht GmbH, and Böseler Qualitätsfleisch GmbH will be involved as majority shareholders. Jochen J. Warnke will be the new Managing Director of Heinfelder Porc GmbH. All employees currently working at the two AGRAVIS sites will be taken over by the new company.
What's more, a feed supply contact has been agreed between AGRAVIS Mischfutter Oldenburg/Ostfriesland GmbH and Heinfelder Porc GmbH. There are also plans to continue to make the AGRAVIS piglet breeding farm in Gartherfeld available for the testing of feed concepts.
"For AGRAVIS, this alliance under the leadership of Böseler Qualitätsfleisch GmbH is an important step into the future with which we emphasise that we do not wish to bow out of this segment but rather to consciously follow a new path with a strong partner," said Ludger Leifker, Authorised Representative for Feed Business at AGRAVIS Raiffeisen AG, as justification of the new partnership. "We hope for further professionalisation of the production at both plants. At the same time, we strive for a close partnership with the Böseler Goldschmaus Group as an industry heavyweight for pork marketing in this region."
