AGRAVIS NetFarming provides agriculturalists with true added value
Right on time for the Agritechnica 2015, the AGRAVIS NetFarming GmbH, a subsidiary of AGRAVIS Raiffeisen AG, has introduced new products for the Landwirtschaft (Agriculture) 4.0: the site-specific base fertilisation, the sowing schedule for maize, which also takes into account the varying performance strengths of yields, order planning with the Isaria sensor and an optimised RTK network.

- They introduced the new services provided by AGRAVIS NetFarming GmbH, which provide agriculturalists with true added value: Frank Wiedenroth (Managing Director of AGRAVIS NetFarming GmbH), Christoph Kempkes (Member of the Board at AGRAVIS Raiffeisen AG), Christian Carl and Jan Carl Habermann (both Product Managers for AGRAVIS NetFarming GmbH).
For data management purposes, the new netfarming.de platform will go online at the start of the trade fair.
"The AGRAVIS Raiffeisen AG has recognised the growth potential of Precision Farming early on and has developed its own concepts", said Christoph Kempkes, who has been a Member of the Board at the agricultural trade and service provider company since June 2015, to journalists on Thursday (22.10.) In the meantime, the activities in this field have been bundled to form a subsidiary. "We utilise the entire know-how from different specialist departments at AGRAVIS for the benefit of agriculturist", continued Kempkes.
Practitioners at work
"You can see by these products that they have been developed by practitioners", emphasises Kempkes. Technical innovations are combined with crop cultivation concepts. "The opens up new paths in agriculture, and provides the agriculturist with true added value - in terms of profit, in terms of the efficient utilisation of operating equipment and in terms of data management".
The AGRAVIS Board Member indicated that the Precision Farming business would increase substantially over the following years. An annual increase potential of 12 percent has been forecast for the use of innovative technologies in agriculture until 2020. "This is music to our ears". And the AGRAVIS Raiffeisen AG want to be in on this development from the start. "Of course, in view of the predicted volume of billions, new market participants are pushing their way into this field of business. We aren't just going to clear the field for them". AGRAVIS understands itself as a comprehensive partner and service provider on all questions to do with agriculture, and offer solutions accordingly.
