"Crime scene cowshed" at AGRAVIS Mischfutter Oldenburg
Under the motto "Crime scene cowshed – between economic viability and reality", roughly 100 agriculturists with dairy cattle from the Weser-Ems region obtained information at the Q-Day, held by AGRAVIS Mischfutter Oldenburg/Ostfriesland GmbH. "AGRAVIS aims at obtaining an as broad as possible, certified and controlled raw material basis for feed production", explained Jürgen Aumann from AGRAVIS Mischfutter Oldenburg/Ostfriesland GmbH.

- Many agriculturists from the Weser-Ems region caught up on trends and news in the dairy cattle industry at this year's Q-Day at AGRAVIS in Oldenburg.
Participants also discussed the current situation on the dairy market. Lectures by Steffi Wille-Sonk from the European Dairy Farmers, Jürgen Aumann from AGRAVIS Mischfutter Oldenburg/Ostfriesland GmbH and Gregor Veauthier from the trade journal Elite added a special highlight. "Human needs should not be transferred one-to-one to cows", he underlined in his lecture.
The referees dwelled on dairy production in international comparison, the future of markets and how dairy producers are perceived by the public. "In times of low dairy prices, feed quality, animal health and fertility should not be impaired by cost savings", Steffi Wille-Sonk emphasised. To conclude the evening, participants were able to exchange information on current topics.
