- The St. Jürgen local group is also excited about the 72-hour campaign. AGRAVIS Raiffeisen AG is giving all participants a uniform T-shirt.
AGRAVIS wants these to support the idea to strengthen the rual area and volunteering in the villages. The thing the participants have in common is that they all want to create something permanent for their village, and therefore want to promote the sense of community in the village. "So that the community spirit of the 72-hour campaign also becomes visible externally, we have given all participants a uniform T-shirt. As an agricultural retail company, the agricultural industry in Lower Saxony is particularly important to us. We are also offering this partnership to the young generation" stresses Hans-Georg Bruns, deputy member of the AGRAVIS Raiffeisen AG board.
Under the slogan "There's no such this as can't", around 3,000 young people will be taking part in the 2015 campaign for good and in 72 hours will be working towards a charitable, social, ecological, intercultural or political task. With fun and commitment, youngsters and young adults will worktake on work that no-one does or where there is no willnigness or money. From cutting grass to gardening work, or creating an international cookbook with people with a migration background, or designing space for school pupils – the ideas are far-reaching and creative. The social campaign has been taking place every four years since 1995.
