World Cup fever has erupted. Each team is giving of its best and is being urged on by its home fans. John Birresborn, alias "Bawa Abudu", is a special football fan. He comes from Ghana and has lived in Germany since 1980. The 61-year-old has produced a song especially for the World Cup, which is designed to urge on his compatriots. "We are modest football stars and seem small, but we are absolutely determined and will give everything, even against the big teams from Germany and the USA. We want to fly the flags of Ghana and Africa and show what we can do," is how the artist explains the message behind his composition.

As a musician he has a responsibility and has to do something for his country. Through his music he wants to give power to the team from Ghana during the World Cup. John Birresborn works as a customer chauffeur in the Vovis dealership Vovis dealership in Münster and has worked for the AGRAVIS Group in Münster for 18 years.
