Valuable tips for farmers at the AGRAVIS Skills Day
On Wednesday (11 June) at the experimental farm in Sankt Mauritz, Münster AGRAVIS Raiffeisen AG provided an insight into practice-related variety tests, fertilisation and plant protection strategies for the coming months. The event attracted a great deal of interest, with many visitors using the Skills Day as an opportunity to find out more about current crop cultivation issues

How can the accumulated liquid fertiliser be optimally used in the operation? How can manure be used externally? The AGRAVIS Skills Day provided answers to all questions related to nutrient use efficiency on the farm.
The crop cultivation consultants also demonstrated interesting liquid fertilising variations in maize and grain as well as functions and modes of operation of the Isaria nitrate sensor. In addition, the experts presented demonstration equipment and technology used in the rotation of catch crops and to optimise plant protection strategies. The extensive variety tests at the location provided the agriculturists with valuable assistance in the decision-making process for the pending autumn 2014 sowing.
